Student Services

You will be making a very important decision in your life by becoming a student at SMBS. Our goal is to help you to grow spiritually, obtain a firm foundation, and develop a strong love for God and people. While going through this growing process, it is our sincere desire that you would feel supported and encouraged.

Counseling:

Throughout the learning process, there might come a time when you will be in need of advice, encouragement, or counseling of a spiritual leader. We would like you to know that there are people ready to listen, offer support, and pray for you.

Housing/Meals/Transportation:

We would also like for you to feel welcome and comfortable in a new city, state, church and living arrangement. Below you will find some important information about your stay in Jacksonville.

Housing: SMBS rents houses that we use as dorms and there will be groups of students who will live there, or you will be placed in a Host family (Christian family from the local church). Those living with a host family will be rooming with another student.

Meals: Included in the tuition cost are two full meals, breakfast and lunch, which will be provided in school. All other meals are the student's own responsibility.

Transportation: If you do not bring your own car, we will work to place you with a student who has transportation. If you do own a car, we strongly ask you to bring it with you.Those who bring their own car will receive a discount of $200 off on their tuition.
