Student Services

By becoming a student at SMBS you will be making a very important decision in your life. Our goal is to help you to grow, gain a firm foundation, and develop a strong love for God and people. While going through this growing process, we would like you to feel supported and encouraged. We are working hard to provide the following services to you as a student:

Counseling:

If there is ever a time throughout these months that you would like to receive advice, encouragement, or just need to talk to a Spiritual leader we would like you to know that there are people ready to listen, pray for you and offer support.

Housing/Meals/Transportation:

We would also like for you to feel welcome and comfortable in a new city, state, church and living arrangement. Below you will find some important information about your stay in Jacksonville.

Housing: You will be placed in a Christian home of a local church member where you will have a room and another student as your roommate. There is also a possibility that you will be living with a larger group of students in a spacious, rented home.

Meals: Monday through Friday you will be offered a full breakfast and lunch in school. All other meals are the student's own responsibility.

Transportation: Some students will take their own vehicle for the duration of the school, however if you will not be taking your car, you will be placed with a student who has one; therefore, you will have transportation to and from school.
